Evan Jenkins is Ramaco’s Vice-Chairman, Secretary, and Chief Administrative Officer. He joined the company as General Counsel and Secretary in February 2024. Mr. Jenkins has a long and distinguished career, including as the former Chief Justice of the West Virginia Supreme Court, former two term U.S. Congressman, and longtime West Virginia State Legislator. He also serves as president of The Ramaco Foundation and a member of its board of directors. Before joining Ramaco, Jenkins served as Senior Vice President, Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., the world’s largest business organization. Mr. Jenkins received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida and his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.

Chris Blanchard is EVP for Mine Planning and Development, overseeing the execution and planning of coal production and infrastructure in the East and development of rare earth deposits at the Brook Mine in Wyoming, as well as its related processing and refining infrastructure to support Ramaco’s critical mineral production. He has managed significant mining operations for a range of major public and private companies, particularly in Central Appalachia. Mr. Blanchard received his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Charleston and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Jeremy Sussman is Chief Financial Officer of Ramaco, beginning his role in 2019. He has an extensive background in the coal industry through his many years as one of the leading mining and mineral industry analysts on Wall Street. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Managing Director – Mining and Metals at Clarksons Platou Securities (“Clarksons”). Mr. Sussman worked at Clarksons since 2013, and prior to that was a research analyst focusing on the coal space at Citadel and at a variety of other sell-side and buy-side hedge funds. He graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Jason Fannin is the Chief Commercial Officer and oversees sales, marketing, and logistics. He has broad experience in the coal industry through his work over the past 25 years at various public and private coal companies. Prior to joining Ramaco in 2020, Mr. Fannin held a variety of senior sales and marketing positions with Contura Energy, Alpha Natural Resources, and AMCI Resources. Mr. Fannin holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in both chemical engineering and chemistry from the West Virginia Institute of Technology and earned his Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from the Appalachian School of Law.

John Marcum is the EVP for Production and has extensive accounting experience in the coal industry through his work at various publicly traded coal companies over the past 25 years. Prior to joining Ramaco in 2018, originally as Controller, Mr. Marcum served as Vice President of Accounting for Alpha Natural Resources. He previously held accounting and finance management positions with Massey Energy, Magnum Coal, and Arcelor Mittal. Mr. Marcum holds a BBA in Accountancy from Marshall University and an MBA from Morehead State University.

Paul Horn is EVP for Mine Operations. He brings to Ramaco almost 30 years of experience as one of the most senior mining executives in the Central Appalachian region. Prior to joining Ramaco, he worked for over 20 years at the privately held Booth Energy Group, including as President and Chief Operating Officer. He began his career in operations at Alliance Coal and has served as the past Chairman of the Kentucky Coal Association. Mr. Horn holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky.

Michael Woloschuk is EVP for Critical Mineral Operations, leading Ramaco’s work to develop and commercialize the Brook Mine rare earth and critical mineral operation. He is an internationally recognized leader in the critical minerals industry and has been involved in every facet of the field, including geology, mining, processing, finance, and project execution. Most recently Mr. Woloschuk served as global executive director of critical minerals for the Fluor Corporation, where his team helped test, engineer, design and support the Brook project, and was involved in major critical minerals projects around the world. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering.

Scott Spears is EVP for External Accounting, overseeing all external audit and public reporting activities, as well as IT and general financial and investment modeling. He has been with the Company since 2020 and has previously served in various senior executive roles in the coal industry over his 30-year career. These have included as Chief Executive Officer at Jesse Creek Mining in Alabama and President and Chief Financial Officer at White Oak Resources in Illinois. Mr. Spears has served as the Company’s head of Finance since 2021 and oversees SEC compliance and general financial statement preparation. He graduated from West Virginia University with Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Scott Kreutzer is EVP for Western Operations, following his tenure as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.  He brings to Ramaco over 25 years of experience in operational, strategic, legal and land administration matters. Prior to joining Ramaco, he had served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer at Contura Energy. He previously served as Senior Vice President at Alpha Natural Resources, Eagle Specialty Materials as General Counsel and TECO Coal as Head of Business Development. Mr. Kreutzer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Transylvania University and a Juris Doctor from Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.

Tyler Adkins is General Counsel and Assistant Secretary.  He has been with the Company since 2022, previously serving as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel. Mr. Adkins has more than a decade of legal experience, primarily in the energy industry.  Before joining Ramaco, Mr. Adkins served in various legal roles in the coal industry, including as Assistant General Counsel at Blackhawk Mining, as General Counsel, Compliance Officer, and Secretary for Cleveland CliffsPrinceton Coal, Inc., and with various law firms, the most recent of which was Steptoe & Johnson, PLLC.  He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, graduated from Morehead State University with an M.B.A., and earned his Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.

Orin Atkins is Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Critical Minerals. He joined Ramaco in 2026 and brings nearly 20 years of experience in energy infrastructure, business development, marketing, and operations. His responsibilities include sales and offtake of the minerals developed at the Brook Mine facility, as well as partnerships and business development around the broader asset base. Orin also leads the internal development of Ramaco’s Strategic Critical Mineral Terminal (SCMT) alongside Goldman Sachs as structuring agent. Prior to joining Ramaco, Mr. Atkins served in senior executive and business development roles across the energy sector, including as Chief Commercial Officer of Rangeland Energy IV, and senior leadership roles at Gibson Energy, Energy Transfer Partners, and others. His experience included originating and developing opportunities, organization and P&L management, commodity sales and marketing, and developing midstream processing, logistics, and terminal infrastructure. Mr. Atkins holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Southern Methodist University, and an M.B.A. in Energy Finance and Strategy from SMU Cox School of Business.

Jeffrey Barron is Senior Vice President for Engineering & Permitting and joined the Company in January 2026. He brings more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering, permitting, and infrastructure development supporting mining and energy projects. Prior to joining Ramaco, Mr. Barron worked extensively on Ramaco projects as a Senior Project Manager at WWC Engineering in Sheridan, Wyoming, including preparation of the Brook Mine permit and development of the iCAM research center. His experience includes permit-to-mine applications and amendments, mine hydrology and reclamation design, groundwater development, and the design and construction of large-scale hydraulic and diversion structures. Mr. Barron holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Montana State University.

Toby Edwards is Ramaco’s Senior Vice President for Mine Operations. He joined Ramaco in 2017 as Vice President, Surface Mining. Over his 25-year career in the coal industry, Mr. Edwards has served in various operational roles for Massey, Alpha, and other Central Appalachian coal companies. His responsibilities have included production, planning and development of surface mining operations, as well as oversight of underground operations, preparation plants and river barge loading facilities. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in the Mine Engineering.

Joe Stopper is SVP for Planning and Analysis, focusing on investment finance, capital management, and the structuring and procurement activities for both the company’s rare earth elements and critical minerals sector, as well as its metallurgical coal platforms. Before joining Ramaco, Mr. Stopper was a senior director for the White House National Energy Dominance Council and a senior advisor to the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Interior. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Yorktown Energy Partners in New York, where he spent twelve years serving on the boards of numerous companies across the energy industry. Mr. Stopper holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University and is active on several philanthropic boards.

Martin van Wyk is Senior Vice President of Critical Minerals Processing, leading Ramaco’s critical minerals processing development. With over two decades of global experience in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, and rare earth element flowsheet development, he is a recognized process subject matter expert (SME) in critical minerals and hydrometallurgy, with a strong track record in research, test work, and full plant commissioning and operations. Prior to Ramaco, he served as an independent Process SME and modeler responsible for designing test work, reviewing results, and optimizing flowsheet development at the Brook Mine. Mr. van Wyk holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Post Graduate Certificate in Corrosion Engineering from Curtin University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pretoria.

David Frischkorn is an investment banker with more than 40 years of energy industry experience. Previously, Mr. Frischkorn was Managing Director, Corporate Finance at the Seaport Global Holdings LLC investment bank. He also served as Vice Chairman-Corporate Finance of Dahlman Rose & Company LLC, and as Managing Director of the Energy Group of Jefferies & Co. Mr. Frischkorn holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School and an M.A. in Economics and German from Tufts University.

Aurelia Skipwith Giacometto has a wide-ranging background as a government administrator at the federal level, an attorney, a scientist, and a businesswoman. She served as the Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in the Department of Interior under the Trump Administration, and currently serves as Secretary of Louisiana’s Department of Environmental Quality. Before that, she served as the General Counsel of AVC Global, an international logistics company she co-founded in 2016. Ms. Giacometto began her career at Monsanto as a researcher, and later served in both legal and research positions at the United States Department of Agriculture, and as an intellectual property consultant to the United States Agency for International Development. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Howard University, a Masters in Science in molecular genetics from Purdue University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law.

Mike Graney has over 35 years of experience as an entrepreneur, business leader, and executive in Appalachia and brings a wealth of expertise in economic development, energy, and community service. Most recently, Graney served as Executive Director and Acting Cabinet Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Economic Development, where he oversaw state government programs focused on improving the economic well-being of West Virginia through new business attraction, job growth, and strategic community development. Mr. Graney received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. from UVA Darden School of Business. 

Bryan Lawrence has served as a member of Ramaco’s board of directors since the Company’s formation. He is the founder and senior manager of Yorktown Partners LLC, which for over 25 years has managed private equity partnerships making investments in companies engaged in the energy industry. Mr. Lawrence also serves as a director of other publicly traded companies such as Epsilon Energy Ltd.,  Hallador Energy Company, Riley Exploration Permian, and Star Group, L.P., as well as other non-public companies in the energy industry in which Yorktown partnerships hold equity interests. Mr. Lawrence is a graduate of Hamilton College and holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Peter Leidel is a founder and partner of Yorktown Partners LLC, which manages private equity partnerships that invest in the energy industry. Mr. Leidel is a director of the University of Wisconsin Foundation and the American Spectator Foundation, as well as several private energy companies. He formerly served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Business, where he taught financial and managerial accounting. Mr. Leidel is a Certified Public Accountant and received his B.B.A. with Honors from the University of Wisconsin and M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Joseph Manchin III has decades of national leadership in public policy and economic development.  From 2010 to 2025, he served as a U.S. Senator for West Virginia. During this time, Senator Manchin was chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and a member of the Appropriations, Armed Services, and Veterans’ Affairs Committees. Before his tenure in the Senate, he served as the Governor of West Virginia from 2005 to 2010, and as West Virginia Secretary of State from 2001 to 2005. Senator Manchin has served on the Board of Athene Holding Ltd. since February 2025 and is a member of Athene’s legal and regulatory committee, and has served as an adviser to Apollo since February 2025. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration.

Richard Whiting has a long career in the coal industry, having previously served as President of natural resources leasing company Kinder Morgan Resources LLC,  President and Chief Executive Officer of Patriot Coal Corporation, and President, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Peabody Energy Corporation. Mr. Whiting has also served as a Director of the National Mining Association, Chairman of COALPAC, and a Director of the National Coal Council. Mr. Whiting holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University.
